Dry Boza
Since ancient times, the boza is known to the nations of the Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Syria, as well as the Balkan nations of Bulgaria, Albania, Romania, Serbia. For the first time, the boza was a subject of scientific studies in Bulgaria by prof. Dr. Asen Zlataro and prof. Dr. Toshko Petrov who proved the high nutritional and biological characteristics of boza.
WHAT IS BOZA?
Boza is a cloudy nonalcoholic drink. It is obtained from raw materials with plant origin by a certain technology, the main part of which is boiling (hydrolysis). In the past, classic boza was produced from millet and maize. At present, the main raw materials are rye and wheat in various combinations. Besides being a refreshing drink, boza is also a common food suitable for all age groups and all seasons.
CONTENTS:
Boza is rich in carbohydrates, amino acids, mineral salts, vitamins, organic acids, fats, etc., in many suitable compounds and in stable ones colloidal forms.
Boza contains the same amount of protein in a 13.5 oz glass, as a 6.75oz glass of milk, but more importantly it contains all essential amino acids, which have a very beneficial effect on the human organism. Boza has very little fat, which makes it suitable for people who are predisposed to obesity and atherosclerosis. Boza contains vitamin B complex, vitamin PP and compared to other soft drinks, much higher quantities of mineral salts that include phosphorous, potassium, magnesium, calcium, sodium. Boza attributes its spicy taste and cooling properties to the organic acids that comprise it, namely lactic acid, malic acid, tartaric acid, succinic acid, carbonic acid.
BENEFITS OF DRY BOZA
Despite its many benefits, in general, Boza has a significant disadvantage in its continuous fermentation, which leads to a short expiry date. Our proprietary formula, Dry Boza, fixes this disadvantage, as it is presented in dry granular form that can be mixed with water, which has an expiry term of 2 years while completely retaining its taste qualities and biological properties. This makes Dry Boza easy to store and readily available to drink.
USAGE:
Single serving - 4/5 table spoons of the granular Dry Boza are mixed with a glass of water, which is ready to drink.
Multiple servings - For multiple servings, simply use a mixer or stir the granular mixture by hand in a large pitcher by maintaining the ratio of 4/5 tbps per glass of water.
CLASSIC RECIPE:
If you wish to impress your guests, after the Dry Boza is dissolved in water, add some cinamon on top along with roasted chickpeas. If you need an extra refreshing, add some mint sprigs
